ABOUT ME

Hey! I’m Dr. Stephanie, PT, DPT

A passionate physical therapist with a background as a competitive runner, former collegiate swimmer, and mom of four. For over 12 years, I have dedicated myself to helping individuals like you overcome injuries and return to their favorite sports and activities. Movement has always fascinated me, and my journey in physical therapy began with a desire to understand the mechanics of the body and help people achieve their best physical health.

I've always been fascinated by movement and how it can help my students to treat injuries in place of medications or surgery.

My Journey

My true calling—using movement to heal

I’ve been active as a runner and swimmer since childhood, with an early interest in becoming an orthopedic surgeon. However, after observing physical therapists in action, I discovered my true calling—using movement to heal.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Calvin College, followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University. While swimming competitively in college, I discovered a love for running, completing my first marathon in 2010 and qualifying for the Boston Marathon.

This led me to embark on a journey to run marathons in all 50 states, having completed 24 marathons in 18 states so far.
